We Bring the
Climate to You

We deliver portable heat pumps to your job site, run flexible ductwork into the structure, and place a thermostat inside. One unit handles up to 6,000 square feet. Larger builds may need two.

Requires 208–230V single-phase power, typically available at the temporary meter. We maintain the units weekly so you never have to think about it.

Protect the Build

01

Protect Your Investment

Trim, cabinetry, woodwork, flooring—all sensitive to humidity and temperature. Stable climate prevents popping seams, settling, and warping.

02

Control Your Timeline

Excessive heat, cold, and humidity slow curing times for plaster, paint, and grout. Don’t let weather dictate your schedule.

03

Work Efficiently

Comfortable crews are productive crews. Keep your employees and subs on task.

Joe Lloyd, founder of AirMill

Joe Lloyd

Joe grew up renovating historic homes across New England alongside his father, brother, and sister. He went on to build custom, high-end cabinetry while attending the University of Colorado—work that cemented a commitment to precision he's carried into everything since.

He founded AirMill to solve a straightforward problem: builders need reliable climate control on site, and they don't need it to be complicated. Several clients have hired AirMill back for their own home builds—the kind of repeat business that only comes from doing the job right.

Joe lives on James Island with his wife, two daughters, and a yellow lab. When he's not on a job site, he's kiteboarding or sailing.

What Builders Say

5.0 rating on Google

AirMill was incredible to work with during our build. Weekly filter changes, prompt service call responses, and overall just superb quality & service. Temporary climate control is critical to prevent moisture build up and also help wood acclimate. Using temp air also protects your duct work and HVAC systems. AirMill is the best!
